Welcome to ASSE’s Sierra Nevada Chapter

Welcome to the home page of the Sierra Nevada Chapter of the American Society of Safety Engineers (ASSE). This Chapter is a non-profit organization chartered by the Society for the purpose of carrying out the objectives of the Society in a defined geographical area. The Chapter is located in Region II and the Chapter’s geographical areas are defined as Carson, Churchill, Douglas, Elko, Eureka, Humboldt, Landers, Lyon, Mineral, Pershing, Storey, and Washoe counties. Membership in the Chapter is open to those individuals who are members of the Society in good standing and who are located within the Chapter’s geographical area or request membership in it. The Chapter provides educational and networking opportunities to safety, health and environmental professionals throughout Northern Nevada.
